Christian clothing

One of the issues that is perhaps a little controversial in the Christian life is clothing, the Apostle Paul said that every woman (1 Timothy 2:9-10) and also every man should dress decently.

The Lord demands holiness inside and out, so that no one is a stumbling block for anyone both inside and outside the congregation, we must dress moderately with great modesty.

I remember that on one occasion God gave a message to an evangelist brother while he was praying saying: "Tell my people not to imitate the fashions of sinners, especially the fashions that are of an immoral nature that women and men dress with little clothing provoking covetousness in the opposite sex; especially women, those fashions where they show the shame of their nudity provoke men to covet that woman, when a man covets her in his heart and commits adultery with her and she is the one who provoked too, do not imitate that fashion of tight clothing showing the lines of your body causing others to covet, they are fashions of the world imposed by my enemies, many are atheists, homosexuals, do not imitate those fashions of skirts slit from behind that show their meat and the man covets that, my people do not imitate that modern fashion that I did not put on women's pants, the feminine lines of the woman's body are different from that of the masculine, the A man can walk normally in pants if he doesn't stick to his pants, but a woman in pants looks covetable and provocative."

The Lord knew that man was going to be rebellious, foolish, disobedient, that is why he placed burdens on him, obstacles in his spiritual life to see who walks in his ways, who truly wants to follow his ways, walk in his statutes and his laws, for That allowed both the woman for the man to be a temptation to each other, although the temptation of the woman towards the man predominates.

I remember on one occasion that God told me through the gift of prophecy: "You know that you are my son and you have set yourself apart for me, you come and praise me with all your heart and I see you but think that not only I see you here, I also see you at your work, everywhere, there you have to show that you are my son, that you take my word, because I have put you there to prove yourself".
God not only sees us inside the church how we act, how we are, how we behave, how we treat others, how we dress, but everywhere; if the Lord told me that he sees me here and outside, therefore I must behave and dress for God inside and outside the church, as I would dress in church I should dress outside; with decorum, with moderation, as for men, the Spirit taught me to wear pants that don't hug the body, with long-sleeved shirts or polo shirts in general, and not with sleeves that show our shoulders when the shirts are very short. like it should be a little longer without revealing much of the arms close to the shoulder, that is, from the elbow up covered with the shirt or polo shirt, women should take even more care of their clothing, since their feminine lines are covetable in the eyes of the male, not with clothes that are tight or tight to the body, it is recommended that they always wear skirts inside and outside the church, since as the Lord said they look covetable in pants whether they are wide or not, but this is something that the same Spirit teaches each one and perhaps not everyone does not feel the same or receive this teaching, THE ONE who wants to receive this teaching will be for the benefit of his spiritual life, he would like everyone to receive it, to win points before God and and please us.

I have personally seen sisters who dress in church with skirts and outside with pants, but if we want to win points for God let us make the effort to do it all the time to please God and not be a stumbling block or temptation for brothers or people from outside. of the church.

Sister María Luisa used to say that in the church it is taught that women dress with decorum and with a skirt, and in the street everyone is free to dress; but to think that the eyes of the Lord watch over the whole earth makes us think of making an effort to dress decently inside and outside the church, because that is also how we demonstrate how our spiritual life is.

We know that it is difficult because of work or study, and they may look at us strangely, but that pleasing God is above all else, bearing in mind that he sees us at all times and in all places, we show that we are his children and daughters and we want to please him, in summary to all this we must think the following: God, what did he think of my clothing?

In many congregations they teach and demand doctrines of men with reference to the church and set standards for everything, for the skirt, the color of the skirt, the size, about makeup, eyebrows, necklaces, bracelets, hair, etc. .
These teachings are often taught by men as doctrines and they focus a lot on it, putting ca Heavy groping at women and men, saying do this, use this, don't eat this, eat this, etc.
Over time we have learned that perhaps little should be taught about this, nor should we touch the subject much, if we taught believers to love God, to please God in everything, to ask God what I should do, to stop do, how I should dress to please him and if we are sincere, God himself will teach each one of us how to dress, because he teaches us all to dress modestly with humility, with simplicity speaking in general terms; but, to some believers it teaches more specific things, such as wearing the skirt below the knee, others to the ankle, to others it requires much more coverage.

This is a personalized teaching of God with each person, due to many factors that we do not know but that the Lord and the person do, according to their weaknesses or where God got them from, for example if the person was vain in makeup and excessive care in her image, the Lord can demand more of her.

Here are some accessories that women normally use, but that can be harmful to health.

Makeup: it harms the face because it can contain parabens, asbestos, even bacteria among other chemicals that are absorbed by the skin, since the skin is permeable and absorbs everything that is put on it.
